Creating my own supply.

I listen to a lot of podcasts. I listen to a lot of audiobooks. For the ones I love most — the ones where someone takes a figure I've been curious about for years and spends hours pulling their philosophy apart — there are not enough of them. Especially about the people I actually care about.

Dalewood Media is me making the podcasts I wish existed. Six-hour, twelve-hour, twenty-four-episode deep dives on the philosophy of hip-hop's founders, poets, and operators — treated with the rigor they deserve. The people I'd talk about at length if you got me going.

That's the label. That's the entire thesis. Creating my own supply. Scratching my own itches. Every issue is one subject. Every subject is someone I've been reading, watching, and quoting for a long time.

How an issue gets made.

Who's behind this.

I'm Dwayne Hogan. I'm passionate about using AI to 10x my creativity — so this is that, applied to a lane I care about more than most. I grew up on 90s East Coast hip-hop and I've been a personal-development obsessive for as long as I can remember. Nas, Jay, Premier, RZA on repeat; Naval, Godin, Hill in the bag; podcasts and audiobooks running every time I'm walking.

This is me creating my own supply. Scratching my own itches.

Dalewood is the manifestation of a kid from Dalewood Drive in Wheaton, MD who fell in love with hip-hop and the idea of building at the same time. The rappers I grew up on weren't just musicians — they were founders, philosophers, students of leverage. Dalewood takes them seriously.

If you've got a subject you want to hear me dig into, I want to hear about it. This whole thing runs on one-person curiosity and an AI pipeline, and both scale further than you'd think.

Start with Issue 001.
